Das letzte Mal hab ich dies 2004 gemacht und ich hab mich auch wieder daran erinnert, warum es so schwierig ist ein gutes Foto zu bekommen: Es ist nicht, dass man nicht nah genug rankommt (das Foto ist unbeschnitten bei 190mm) - sie sind eigentlich an Menschen gewöhnt und fressen sogar aus der Hand. Es ist eher eine Timingfrage, weil sie eigentlich ständig in Bewegung sind, wenn ich nah genug an ihnen dran bin und die zwei Sekunden, die sie dann normalerweise stillsitzen reichen meist nicht zum Fokussieren und Abdrücken. Inspired by Thusie I jumped the bandwagon and took a few shots of our Eurasian Red Squirrel ('Euro Squirrel'). Last time I tried taking photos of them was back in 2004 and I remembered why it's so difficult to get a decent shot: It's not that you can't get close to them (this is an uncropped shot at 190mm) - they are actually used to people and feed from your hand. It's more of a timing issue, because they're constantly moving with me being close enough and the two seconds they usually sit still often aren't enough to focus and get the shot.
